"Waterjetting Technology" sets out to describe the various ways in which high pressure waterjets have been and are being used today.  In the process it covers the results of the early research into the various applications explaining why the different choices for some systems were made.  Topics covered:  

Chapter 1: Fundamentals where and how were waterjets developed and what are they used for (about 20 pages),
Chapter 2. The parts of a waterjet system - what are the different components of typical waterjet circuits. How is the power distributed (lost) between the supply cable and the jet impact on the target. "Principles of Abrasive Water Jet Machining"   This book is written at an academic level.  I purchased a copy, but have not yet had time to write a review, or read it for that matter.  Looks like it contains a lot of good information, mostly geared toward the experienced Abrasivejet user.  ISBN Number is 3-540-76239-6 Price $90.00(?).
